It began in the 1940s with first-generation builder Eddie Melton. His focus on providing quality work became the foundation for his construction business.

In the mid-1970s, his son, John E. Melton, joined his father’s construction business. John continued to focus on the Melton practice by building a reputation for reliable, quality construction.

In 2017, Tyler Gore, grandson of Eddie Melton and nephew of John became a partner and together John and Tyler formed Gore and Melton Construction.

In a long-standing tradition, spanning three generations, Gore and Melton continues the legacy created by Eddie focusing on excellence by providing quality construction, honesty, and clear communication throughout a project.
